Contamination and Remediation:

Our professional staff and technical field assistants are experienced in the management of contaminated land, working with sites which have been impacted by a wide range of organic and inorganic pollutants. Our expertise in this field extend from initial site investigations through to the remediation and close out of contaminated sites.

Our range of Contamination and Remediation services include:

Site surveys to define and aid in determining the extent of plumes
Soil sampling for the collection of samples, hand sampling, augering, installation of test pits, direct push sampling and percussion drilling methods
Surface and groundwater sampling, including the utilisation of low flow sampling techniques
Installation of monitoring wells via means of direct push drilling, rotary percussion drilling, mud rotary drilling and mechanical augering
Laboratory analysis of soil and water samples
Determining the volume of absorbed, dissolved and separate phase contaminants within the impacted zone
Using RISC software to assess risk associated with particular contaminants
Site clean-up and remediation recommendations
Formulation of long term monitoring plans and compilation of site specific remediation plans
